Appeal for witnesses after rock thrown from bridge onto passing car in Cheltenham
The driver was not injured but shaken by what happened.
Parents in Gloucestershire are being urged to speak to their children after a teenager threw a rock into traffic in Cheltenham.
The incident happened around 2.25pm last Tuesday (4 April) when a rock was thrown by someone on the bridge and landed on the windscreen of a car which was being driven along Honeybourne Way at the time.
It was believed that a teenager who was in a group had thrown the item.
The driver, who was in a black convertible Citreon DS3, was not injured but shaken by what happened.
There were other motorists and members of the public around at the time of the incident, including people who were walking along Millennium Bridge, and may be able to help identify the person who threw the rock.
Officers are now asking anyone who witnessed what happened but hasn’t yet spoken to police to make contact.
