Police are asking witnesses to come forward after a play park in Cheltenham was vandalised.

It happened on Sunday 1st December - with the Gloucestershire force saying a large group of teenagers were in Prestbury Park at the time it happened.

It's reported that the youths, believed to be around 15 years old, ripped plants from the flower bed and broke a number of signs and wind chimes before leaving the scene.

Police say some of the youths were on bikes while others were on foot and all of them were described as wearing black clothing.

The incident took place at around 3.45pm on Sunday 1 December and enquiries are ongoing to identify those involved.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the park around the time of the incident and may have seen what happened or may have any information.
