A417 Over Causeway finally reopens
The closure has caused days of disruption
Days after a water main burst forced it's closure - causing gridlock on the roads - a key route in Gloucestershire has now reopened.
Severn Trent has finished repairs to the road surface on the A417 Over Causeway - thanking people for their patience.
The Gloucestershire Roads team said on social media yesterday: "Update on the A417 Over Causeway (Outbound) closure:
"Severn Trent Water have advised that the closure should be removed by approximately 5pm this evening 8th April.
"We thank everyone for their patience and cooperation during this emergency."
