Two men jailed for abducting man and leaving him naked in graveyard
The victim was left bleeding in Bearsden following the December 2021 incident
Two men who dragged a man off the street before he was dumped naked in a graveyard have been jailed for a total of 17 years.
Keeron McCaffrey was bundled into a car in Paisley in December 2021 by 30 year old Jamie Cunningham and 37 year old Steven Quill.
The pair drove for 12 miles, during which the 23 year old feared for his life after being beaten and left with serious eye injuries.
Finally, he was put out of the vehicle at Langfaulds Cemetery in Bearsden, where his clothes were torn off him.
He was able to get help after making his way to a nearby house.

Cunningham and Quill were sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow, having both earlier been convicted of abduction and attempted murder.
Cunningham received eight years, with Quill to face nine, as well as two years of supervision upon his release for a previous conviction of attempted murder.
McCaffery was a victim of a dispute between a friend and his attackers.
Judge Douglas Brown told the pair: “You and a number of others put the man through a terrifying ordeal.”
He continued: “He could have developed hypothermia and died had he not managed to get assistance."

The victim told the court he had been short of cash in the lead up to Christmas and had been offered £30 to “do a job” for a friend.
He agreed and was due to meet a man in Paisley that evening, but after approaching who he believed to be that person, he was punched, and a BMW appeared carrying around four assailants wearing masks and gloves.
Keeron recalled trying to make a desperate break for freedom: "I managed to pull the door open. The door was literally swinging open on the Erskine Bridge.
"I was trying to get people's attention for help.”
He added: “They just jumped all over my head - kept battering the hell out of me."

Prosocuter John McElroy KC asked: "After this incident, how has it affected you?"
Keeron: "It has changed my life."
He said his eyesight before was "perfect” but is now "terrible" and he cannot see without wearing glasses.
Lawyers for Cunningham and Quill said they maintained their innocence.
