Todd Cantwell has sealed his move from Rangers to Blackburn Rovers for a fee of £500,000.

The midfielder becomes the latest player to head for the exit door with Philippe Clement aiming to revamp his squad.

Cantwell expressed his desire to leave Ibrox this summer and has been training individually while his future was being cleared up.

The 26-year old joined in January 2023 and went on to score 14 goals in 64 appearances in all competitions.

Rangers confirmed the move on X, posting: "#RangersFC can today confirm Todd Cantwell has joined @Rovers for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.

"Everyone at Rangers wishes Todd well for the future."

He follows the likes of Connor Goldson, John Lundstram, Ryan Jack and Borna Barisic who have already departed Govan in recent months.

Defender Ben Davies joined Birmingham City on loan with Jose Cifuentes heading to Greece.

Sam Lammers and Robby McCrorie also made permanent moves away with Scott Wright moving to Birmingham City today.

Rangers also confirmed the signing of Neraysho Kasanwirjo on loan from Feyenoord on deadline day.
