16 year old treated for serious injuries after attack in Glasgow

Detectives say it happened around 7.45pm last night in the Easterhouse area

Detectives in Glasgow are appealing for information following the serious assault of a 16-year-old male, which took place in the Easterhouse area last night.

The attack is believed to have happened in the Langbar Crescent, around 7.45pm on Friday, 18 August, 2023.

The youth was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment, with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Detective Constable Nicola Baird said: “Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the attack are ongoing and we’re asking for anyone with information, or who witnessed anything suspicious in the area, to please come forward.
