Teenager taken to hospital after daylight stabbing in Glasgow
The attack happened in the Townhead area yesterday lunchtime
A teenager has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in broad daylight in Glasgow.
The 13-year-old boy was attacked on St Mungo Avenue in Townhead yesterday lunchtime.
He has since been release from the Queen Elizabeth and police say they're working to find out what happened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are investigating a serious assault which happened around 1.20pm on Thursday, 11 April, 2024 on St Mungo Avenue in the Townhead area of Glasgow.
“A 13-year-old male youth was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and later released.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
