St Mirren sign Israeli striker Stav Nahmani on loan
The 20-year youth international joins from Maccabi Haifa.
St Mirren have completed the loan signing of Israel youth international striker Stav Nahmani.
The 20-year old joins from Maccabi Haifa with the Paisley club holding the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
Nahmani has also spent time on loan at Beitar Jerusalem and Hapoel Hadera.
The transfer comes after the Buddies sold Eamonn Brophy to Ross County for an undisclosed six-figure fee.
Manager Stephen Robinson told the club's official website: "Stav came to us through the same contacts that we got Ryan Strain from Maccabi Haifa.
"He’s a young player that’s come through the Israeli age groups.
"He’s got a great work ethic and he gives us real raw pace running in behind.
"We hope he can add goals to our team and pace in the forward areas. He’s a real exciting one that can play in a couple of areas across the forward areas.”
