Sheffield United defender Jili Buyabu joins Motherwell on loan
Motherwell have completed their second deadline day signing with Jili Buyabu joining on loan from Sheffield United.
The 20-year old has made two appearances for the English Premier League side since joining from Hornchurch United.
Buyabu is predominantly a wing-back, but is also capable of playing more attacking roles.
He joins Rangers defender Adam Devine who also joins on a deal until the summer.
The Fir Park side also missed out on securing a return for striker Kevin van Veen who opted to join Kilmarnock.
After completing the deal, manager Stuart Kettlewell told the club's official website: “We have been tracking Jili and I’m please to have him on board.
“He is another bright prospect, who has attracted a number of clubs so far in his career.
“This is a move we’re excited by at the club and feel he can add something to the squad.”
He arrives after an injury to fellow loanee Adam Montgomery.
A club statement confirmed the Celtic youngster has sustained a serious hamstring injury and will be out of action for a number of months.
