A man's in hospital after a serious assault in Paisley

Police are asking for our help after a serious assault in Paisley that's left a man in hospital.
The attack happened shortly before 2 this afternoon on Caledonia Street.
Officers are at the scene and some roads remain closed while investigations take place.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.40pm on Friday, 14 July, 2023, officers were called to a report of a serious assault on Caledonia Street, Paisley.
“A man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Officers are in attendance and some road closures are in place while enquires are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
