A Glasgow man is telling us he is "worried sick" about his teenage son who has been missing from the Shawlands area since Friday morning.

Fifteen year-old Winston Hastings Kearse left his home without his phone, bank card or any money.

His dad Toby told Greatest Hits Radio: "He is a really sharp and intelligent wee guy - the type of person who makes friends immediately.

"He missed his football yesterday which is the most important thing in his life.

"He also knows he is loved by everyone and is not the sort of person who would want to worry people - he is empathetic."

Winston is described as about 5'5 in height, of slim build with dark hair and usually dresses in black tracksuit with black shoes.

"We just want to see his cheeky wee smile and the glint in his eyes again"

When he left him the only possessions he took with him were his two teddy bears.

Toby added: "He is loved, unconditionally, by everyone who knows him and we will always be here for him no matter what trouble he is in.

"We just want to see his cheeky wee smile and the glint in his eyes again.

"He is adored so much and has so much promise and potential."

Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0695.
