Appeal launched for missing Irvine man

He was spotted at Ayr Train Station early on Tuesday

An appeal has been launched to locate a missing Irvine man.

Mark Armit, 62, is described as white British, around five foot seven inches with brown hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark grey hooded fleece over a navy and white grey top, grey jogging bottoms and black trainers with a white sole.

Police say Mark has access to a wheelchair but can walk unaided with poor mobility.

The investigation into Mark’s disappearance revealed he had been spotted on platform four of Ayr Train Station at about 10.20 am earlier on Tuesday.

It’s thought he may be travelling to Glasgow.
