A renewed appeal for a man missing from Arran has been launched by police.

Mariusz Robert Batyra was last seen on Thursday 29 June, at around 7.40am.

The 49 year old was in the Shore Road, Lamlash area, opposite the Ship House stores.

He is described as being white, around 5ft 10,and of stocky build.

When he was last seen, he was wearing grey shorts, a blue jumper and a navy blue Nike rucksack.

Police Appeal

Inspector Stuart Dougan said: “We have been working to establish Mariusz movements before he was reported missing and extensive searches have been carried out, but sadly so far without success.”

He continued: “I appreciate some time has now passed but I would urge people to think back.

“Please let us know as soon as possible if you believe you might have any information that could help.”
