Rabbi Matondo has been added to the Rangers European squad for their upcoming Champions League play-off tie against PSV.

The Welsh winger impressed in Saturday's 2-1 win over Greenock Morton and has been selected for the crucial games after missing out against Servette.

Midfielder Ianis Hagi has dropped out of the latest squad despite his plea for more game time at the weekend.

He said: “Everybody wants to play football, especially when you’re at a club like this.

"I’m obviously disappointed by the situation but I respect the gaffer’s decisions.

“That doesn’t mean I agree with them but I respect them — he is manager of this club.

“I train at 100 per cent on a daily basis. I’ve come back from a one-year injury.

"But they know who I am and know my history at this football club, what I’ve done here before. Now I just want to play.”

Defender Ben Davies has also been included, while there is no spot for Turkish full-back Ridvan Yilmaz.

Malik Tillman is also set to make his Ibrox return after being added to the PSV squad travelling to Glasgow.

Sergino Dest will also be involved after arriving from Barcelona.
