Rangers and Hibs request European play-off postponements

Rangers and Hibernian have notified the SPFL they intend activate a new postponement rule if they progress to the play-off round of European qualifying.
Scottish football's governing body now allow teams to postpone the Premiership fixture that lies in between the two legs of the final qualification round.
Russell Martin's side are set to face St Mirren on Sunday August 24 - but the game will not go ahead as planned if Rangers get past Viktoria Plzen.
Hibernian's fixture the day prior against Falkirk will also be postponed should they beat FK Partizan in the third of Conference League qualifying.
Celtic have passed up on the chance to postpone their match against Livingston that weekend despite being guaranteed a place in the play-off round of Champions League qualifying.
Brendan Rodgers' side will take on either Slovan Bratislava or Kairat Almaty.
Rangers are due to face either Club Brugge or RB Salzburg.
Dundee United's clash with Aberdeen that weekend has already been postponed at the request of the Pittodrie side.
