Rangers complete loan move for winger Vaclav Cerny
Rangers have completed the signing of Vaclav Cerny on a season-long loan deal from Wolfsburg.
The 26-year old joins the Ibrox side as Philippe Clement aims to revamp his squad ahead of the new campaign.
Cerny made his breakthrough at Ajax before spells with fellow Dutch clubs FC Utrecht and FC Twente.
A standout campaign in 2022-23 earned him a move to the German Bundesliga last summer.
He played 25 times for Wolfsburg last season - scoring five goals.
Cerny has also scored six times in 17 caps for for the Czech Republic.
During his Ajax days he scored in the Europa League against Celtic at Celtic Park, knocking Ronny Deila's side out of the competition.
He becomes Philippe Clement's eighth singing of a busy summer window.
Mohamed Diomande completed his permanent move, while Oscar Cortes rejoined on loan.
Liam Kelly and Connor Barron were drafted in from Motherwell and Aberdeen respectively.
Moroccan forward Hamza Igamane, Brazilian full-back Jefte and French defender Clinton Nsiala have also arrived this window.
