Police CCTV appeal after assault in Glasgow's west end

Police Scotland has released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist officers with an enquiry into an assault which took place in Glasgow on Wednesday, 12 April, 2023.

The incident took place near to the Iceland store on Byres Road within the city at around 5.05pm.

The man is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, of average build with receding brown hair. He was wearing a navy top with a yellow detail on the chest and arm, blue jeans, dark trainers and carrying a dark coloured rucksack.

Detective Constable John Whitelaw said: “We are keen to speak to this man who may have information to assist with our enquiries. I would encourage him, or anyone who recognises him, to please contact us.”
