Police appeal after Middleton Street assault and robbery

The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning

A man has been taken to hospital following an assault and robbery in Glasgow.

The incident took place on Middleton Street in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Two main gained access to the property where a 46 year old man was assaulted and a laptop taken.

The suspects are described as having their faces covered, wearing dark hooded tops with the hoods up, one had dark trousers and the other grey trousers.

Both men spoke with Glaswegian accents and police are appealing for information from witnesses.

Police Appeal

Helen Street Community Investigation Unit Police Constable, Scott Kelly, said: “We are appealing to members of the public who may have seen anyone matching these descriptions around the time of this incident.

“I am also appealing to anyone who may have any other information which could assist us, including dash cam and private CCTV footage, to get in touch.”
