The People's Palace at Glasgow Green is closing in April for a huge refurbishment over the next three years.
It will be completely redesigned and bosses are planning to restore the Winter Gardens which have been closed on safety grounds since 2018.
Bailie Annette Christie, Chair of Glasgow Life, said: “With spring on the horizon and the school holidays only a few weeks away, I would encourage as many people as possible to grab this last chance to see the Palace before we close the doors and continue to work with local communities on this exciting transformation.”
"Once closed, the vision to restore the People’s Palace and Winter Gardens as a vibrant museum and thriving community space will begin.
Three year closure
The development phase will take around 16 months, and the museum is not expected to reopen until 2027.
"To start with, a specialist project team will be brought together with the remit of championing the successful community-centred approach used to great acclaim at The Burrell Collection."
Last month, bosses at Glasgow Life announced they had secured £850,000 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund which could pave the way to a wider £7.5m award.

Head of museums Duncan Dornan told {{stationName}: "We will develop new ideas and create a People's Palace fit for the 21st century.
"We will examine what we can do with the flow through the building, to improve the displays and exhibitions and to take advantage of all the digital opportunities which exist now."
