Officers investigating people trying doors in Larkhall

Two separate incidents have taken place on Waverley Street and Cameronian Way.

Officers are investigating reports of people trying doors in Larkhall over the last couple of days.

The first incident happened around 11.55pm on Tuesday, 9 September, 2025, on Waverley Street, when two people entered a garden and tried the door. One was wearing a white hooded jumper.

The second incident happened around 2.20am on Wednesday, 10 September, 2025, on Cameronian Way, when a man tried door handles of multiple properties. He was wearing a green hooded jumper and a brown jacket.

Sergeant Stewart McDonald said: “Enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious to contact us.

“We also ask anyone with private CCTV of the areas at the time to come forward.”
