A motorcyclist has died following a three-vehicle crash in Argyll and Bute. The 52-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on the A85 near Taynuilt on Sunday.

His grey Yahama Tracer motorbike was involved in a crash with a Volvo V40 and a Land Rover Discovery, both black, at around 12.40pm.

The other drivers were treated at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service.

The road was closed for investigations and reopened around 9.10pm.

Police Scotland Sergeant Robert Mackie said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at this very difficult time.

"Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing to anyone who has not already spoken to officers to get in touch if you can assist.

"If you were driving in the area and have dashcam footage that could help with our investigation then please contact us."

Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101.
