Motherwell sign Senegal international Pape Souare
The defender becomes their fourth signing of the summer
Motherwell have completed the signing of defender Pape Souare on a six-month deal.
The 33-year old has been capped 26 times by Senegal and has also featured in the English Premier League for Crystal Palace.
Souare has been looking for a new club after spending the end of last season at Morecambe.
He has also played for Lille, Troyes and Charlton Athletic throughout his career.
The full-back becomes Stuart Kettlewell's fourth addition of the summer.
Striker Conor Wilkinson signed for the club, while Jon Obika and Dan Casey have been retained on permanent deals.
Stuart Kettlewell told the club's official website: “Pape has played at a really high level and with that, comes experience.
“It’s no secret that we need cover in the wide areas, so when the opportunity arose to get Pape on board, we jumped at it.”
