Two men charged in connection with serious organised crime offences

Officers used warrants in Clydebank and Govan last Friday morning

Two men, aged 24 and 27, have been arrested and charged in connection with serious organised crime offences across the Glasgow and West Dunbartonshire area.

Officers used warrants in Clydebank and Govan on the morning of Friday, 5 May, 2023 following an intelligence led investigation.

Both men were due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, 8 May, 2023.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Our officers remain absolutely committed to disrupting the activities of criminals.

"Serious organised crime causes significant harm within our communities and we are working closely with colleagues in partner agencies to stamp out this illegal activity.”
