Man taken to hospital after Hamilton attack

A man was taken to hospital after being seriously assaulted at a pub in South Lanarkshire.

A 47 year old man was taken to hospital after an attack on Campbell Street in Hamilton, at around 7.45pm on Tuesday.

The street was sealed off.

Police Scotland say enquiries are ongoing.
