Man arrested and two police officers injured after Paisley chainsaw incident

A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with "disturbance involving a weapon" in Paisley, which left two police officers were injured.
At around 1pm on Monday 6 May 2024, a car crashed into a stationary police car.
Videos then emerged of a man appearing to chase police officers down Glasgow Road with what looked to be a chainsaw.
Two officers have been injured in the disturbance - both have been treated by paramedics.
Police Scotland did not confirmed whether the injuries were sustained from the collision or with the weapon.
Officers say there is "no risk" to the wider public and the incident is not being treated as a terror attack.
Glasgow Road is closed between Buchlyvie Road and Allanton Avenue.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use an alternative route.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 1pm on Monday, 6 May, 2024, a disturbance involving a weapon occurred following a collision involving a car and a stationary police vehicle on Glasgow Road in Paisley.
"Two officers were injured and were treated by paramedics.
"A 30-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.
"There is no wider risk to the public and officers remain at the scene while enquires are ongoing."
