Lennon Miller and David Watson have been included in Scotland's under-21 squad for the first time.

Both players have had impressive breakthrough campaigns in the Scottish Premiership and have been rewarded with international recognition by Scot Gemmell.

Miller was a key member of Motherwell's midfield at just 17 years old - making 32 appearances in all competitions.

Watson scored five goals in 45 appearances for Kilmarnock and was named SFWA and PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year.

Both players have previously been capped at under-19 level.

Lyall Cameron - who was also a nominee in Young Player of the Year shortlists - is also involved and will be looking to add to his five caps.

Liverpool winger Ben Doak does not feature after being included in Steve Clarke's preliminary senior squad for Euro 2024.

Gemmell's under-21 side take on Turkey and Austria in friendlies at the start of June.
