Pedestrian treated in hospital following Glasgow hit-and-run

A man's been treated in hospital after a hit-and-run on Duke Street in Glasgow.

The 30-year-old pedestrian was struck just before 11.30pm on Thursday.

He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and later released.

The car left the scene before officers arrived.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said:

"Around 11.20pm on Thursday, 28 September, 2023, officers attended a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Duke Street, Glasgow.

"A 30-year-old man, the pedestrian, was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and later released."

"The car left the scene before officers arrived and enquiries are ongoing to trace the vehicle and driver."
