The Christmas lights switch on is returning to Glasgow, for another festive celebration.

Thousands of people will be heading to George Square on Sunday evening to begin the Christmas season in style.

It’s set to be a night of music and performances, with On Repeat and the Soul Nation Choir taking to the stage ahead of a preview performance of this year’s Pavilion Theatre pantomime Beauty and the Beastie.

The lights this year will be switched on by singer Nathan Evans and SAINT PHNX after performances by both.

Our very own George and Cassie from Bowie at Breakfast will be leading the evening, with the lights set to go on at 7pm, followed by a 30 minute lights and projection show on the City Chambers.
