Appeal to identify man following assault in the west end of Glasgow

Police investigating reports of an assault in the west end of Glasgow are releasing an image of a man who they believe could assist them with their enquiries.

The incident happened on Wednesday, 12 April 2023 near to the Iceland store on Byres Road at around 5.05pm.

The man is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, average build with receding brown hair.

He was wearing a navy top with a yellow detail on the chest and arm area, blue jeans, dark trainers and carrying a dark rucksack.

Detective Constable John Whitelaw said: “We are keen to speak to this male who may have information to assist with our enquiries. I would encourage him or anyone who may recognise him to please contact us.”
