There are massive queues at Glasgow Airport as police search for a prisoner on the run.

Passengers are stranded landside as they struggle to battle through queues at security.

One passenger is telling us it's 'chaos'.

It's not clear what's happening but it comes as a manhunt is underway at Manchester airport for an escaped terror suspect.

He has links to #Kingston - police efforts to trace him are ongoing. He should not be approached.

Many travellers are taking to Twitter in frustration at missing flights as a result of being stranded in Departures.

One man told us: "I'm sitting in the bar just now, bit noisy.

"Basically carnage at 1400, far too hot and absolutely zero communication from either the airport or the airlines and the staff had no clue what was going on."
