15-year-old girl found dead in Uddingston

Police are confirming that a 15 year old girl was found dead in Uddingston over the weekend.
Officers were called to the scene on Union Way at around 8:30AM on Saturday 22 April.
There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.30am on Saturday, 22 April, 2023, the body of a 15-year-old female was discovered near Union Way, Uddingston.
"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
