The line up for the No Borders comedy night is packed with comedians excited to perform in aid of refugees and asylum seekers.

Tickets for the Scottish Refugee Council event go on sale today, and the stars will take to the stage in October.

The stand-ups set to join the charity are Frankie Boyle, Josie Long, Stephen Buchanan, Susie McCabe and Jin Hao Li.

Frankie Boyle said he was "really looking forward" to taking to the stage and showing solidarity with refugees, while Stephen Buchanan said refugee and asylum issues were "close to his heart".

Frankie Boyle said he was "really looking forward" to the gig

He said: "It's a charity that does lots of amazing and extremely important work.

"My mum has taken in a few refugees over the years, so it's a cause that is close to my heart."

Taking place at the Glee Club in Glasgow, all proceeds from the show will go towards supporting the work of the Scottish Refugee Council.

Jin Hao Li added: "Scotland has given me a home away from home when I was an international student, and I hope this welcoming space can be that for others too."

Josie Long continued: "I am so glad to be able to help support and welcome refugees in Scotland.

"I can't wait for this gig."

Tickets are on sale from the Glee Club website.
