Five men plead guilty to charges linked with death of man in Glasgow

A man has been convicted in connection with the death of 39-year-old Craig Watson in the Dennistoun area of Glasgow.

At the High Court in Glasgow on Thursday, 30 May, 2024, Robert Greig (32) pleaded guilty to culpable homicide.

Kieran Crawford (21), Jamie Fullerton (21), Laughlin Duffy (19) and a 17-year-old male pleaded guilty to assault to severe injury, in connection with the incident.

They will be sentenced at a later date.

Mr Watson was found seriously injured on Whitevale Gardens on Sunday, 17 April, 2022, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detective Superintendent Cammy Miller said: “My thoughts remain with Craig’s family and friends.

“Violence like this has no place in our society and we will continue to work closely with our partners to bring perpetrators to justice.”
