Father and son charged with attempted murder of policeman in Hamilton
The officer was on duty when he was hit by a car on Low Waters Road on 30th August
A father and son duo has been charged with the attempted murder of a policeman in Hamilton.

They appeared before the town's Sheriff court yesterday but made no plea.
Douglas Mills Senior, 56, and Douglas Mills Junior, 30, both face additional charges of assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement, permanent impairment and danger to life.

They are due to appear before the court again within the next eight days.
