Family of 18 year old who died in M74 collision say he was an "inspiration"

The family of the Blantyre teenager who died after a collision on the M74 on Saturday have said he will be “greatly missed”.
18 year old Christopher Keenan was pronounced dead at the scene after he was involved in a collision with an HGV while walking southbound on the motorway, near Junction 6 for Hamilton, at around 3.10am on 3 August.
Christopher’s family released a statement though Police Scotland, saying: “We would like to thank everyone for their condolences.
“Christopher was a much loved son, brother, grandson and cousin.
“He was an inspiration to all that knew him, and he will be greatly missed by everyone.”
Police appeal
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are still appealling for any witnesses to get in touch.
Sergeant John Houston said: “Our thoughts remain with Christopher's family and friends at this very difficult time.
“I am urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or saw Christopher walking along the roadway, and has not yet spoken to us to please get in touch.
“We would also like to see any dashcam footage taken around the time of the collision on the M74 between junctions six and seven.
