Dujon Sterling has extended his Rangers contract until the summer of 2028.

The 24-year old signed on a free transfer from Chelsea last summer and has gone on to make 46 appearances for the club.

Sterling has proven to be an asset in various different positions for the Ibrox side.

He was initially brought in as a right-back - but has featured as a left-back, a central defender, a central midfielder and a winger.

The former England youth international came off the bench in Sunday's 1-0 win over Hibernian and could feature in Thursday's Europa League clash at home to Lyon.

Philippe Clement's men are looking to make it two wins from two in the competition after last week's 2-0 win away to Malmo.

It comes after news that Ianis Hagi has returned to first-team training with Rangers.

The Romanian has been training and playing with the B team this season but has now resolved a contract dispute with the club.
