Detectives are appealing for information following a wilful vehicle fire in Airdrie.

Around 12.55am on Thursday, 3 October, 2024, a car was deliberately set on fire on Dalbeattie Braes.

The fire was extinguished and there were no reports of any injuries.

Detective Sergeant Alison Thomson said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to contact us.

“We also ask anyone who may have private CCTV of the area at the time to come forward.”
