Connor Goldson has brought his six-year stay at Rangers to an end.

The 31-year old has completed a move to Cypriot side Aris Limassol as Philippe Clement continues the revamp of his Ibrox squad.

Goldson was one of the first key signings made by Steven Gerrard when he took over the club in 2018.

The defender was an almost ever-present fixture in their starting line up for years to come.

He departs with one Premiership title, one Scottish Cup and one League Cup.

The Wolverhampton-born stopper was also part of Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side that made it to the Europa League final in 2022.

In total Goldson made 309 appearances for Rangers - scoring 23 goals.

A club statement read: "#RangersFC can today confirm Connor Goldson has departed the club to join Cypriot side Aris Limassol for an undisclosed fee.

"Everyone at Rangers wishes him the very best of luck in his future endeavours."

He follows other experienced names like Ryan Jack, Borna Barisic and John Lundstram out the door this summer.

Sam Lammers, Kemar Roofe, Robby McCrorie and Jon McLaughlin were also part of the clearout.
