Celtic to face Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa in new-look Champions League format
Celtic will face Borussia Dortmund, Aston Villa, RB Leipzig and Atalanta in the new League Phase of the Champions League.
Brendan Rodgers' side will also take on Club Brugge, Young Boys, Dinamo Zagreb, Aston Villa and Slovan Bratislava with clubs now drawn against eight different opponents in the revamped competition.
UEFA have expanded the Champions League from 32 to 36 teams - with all of them competing in one league table.
Teams finishing in the top eight advance straight to the last 16 - while those finishing between 9th and 24th will compete in a new knockout play-off round.
Fixtures are expected to be announced on Saturday morning with every side guaranteed to play four home and four away ties.
Celtic host RB Leipzig, Club Brugge, Young Boys and Slovan Bratislava
Their away fixtures are Borussia Dortmund, Atalanta, Dinamo Zagreb and Aston Villa.
The first round of games will take place 17-19 September, with the League Phase spanning all the way through to January.
