Cash For Kids Mission Christmas appeal begins across Glasgow and the West
What are you going to do to fundraise for those less fortunate?
We're kicking off our Mission Christmas appeal and asking you to get creative and think of ways to fundraise for families who're less fortunate across Glasgow and the West.
The money you donate will be used to help parents cook a hot meal and give their child a present on the big day.
Regional Director of Cash For Kids in the West of Scotland Grace Reilly says there are lots of ways to raise money.
"You could go over the top with Christmas decorations outside your house and ask people to give to the charity, you could do a Santa dash or even just donate to someone else's fundraiser."
Members of Wolftuna Running Club are setting themselves a challenge next month by climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales.
After getting to the bottom of each one, they will run a half marathon, immerse themselves in the cold water of a lake or a loch for ten minutes.
Record numbers
The Cash For Kids team is expecting to help a record number of families this year who are continuing to struggle with the effects of the cost-of-living crisis.
Grace added: "We are unique in the sense that every pound donated to Cash For Kids goes straight back out to help a child living in poverty.
"The aim is not to change people's lives because that is not possible - we just want to make things that little bit better for people."
