Cash for Kids celebrates 40 years of helping children across Glasgow and the West

Our team at Cash for Kids is saying a huge thanks to you for 40 years of helping the most disadvantaged families across Glasgow and the West.
The charity was founded back in 1984 and was then known as Clyde Action.
It looked a little different at the time because people would phone into Radio Clyde asking for an old washing machine and listeners would get in touch if they could help.
Regional Director Grace Reilly said: "We're hoping that through these celebrations we will have people come forward who've received help before and tell us the difference it has made.
"Our grants are a lifeline to families and help with things like food, toiletries, WI-FI, and electricity or maybe even a nice meal which is a luxury to these people."
Cash for Kids started at Radio Clyde but has since branched out to help children all over the UK.

Joyce Bell from G15 Youth Project has been working with the charity for over 10 years.
She said: "Over the summer, we had a 14-year-old boy who had never enjoyed a takeaway in his life.
"So we took him to the chip shop and got him a sausage supper and he ended up taking a little bit from everyone else too.
"This team simply does not get the credit it deserves and we are so grateful for all the continued support."
