Brian Graham and Dougie Imrie have both dropped out of the race to become Partick Thistle manager.

Clyde 1 Superscoreboard understands Brian Graham has told the Jags he will not be their permanent manager.

The veteran striker took interim charge earlier this year alongside Mark Wilson with the pair leading the Jags into the Premiership promotion play-offs.

Graham was one of a number of names being considered by Thistle chiefs but has now pulled out of the running.

It's understood the 37-year old was left with reservations about the job following the interview process.

Graham's future as a player now looks uncertain after saying he felt he could not return next season as a player if he wasn't also leading the team.

He currently has a year remaining on his Firhill contract.

Dougie Imrie is also out of the race despite being granted permission to hold discussions.

A club statement from Greenock Morton has revealed he has told them he is committed to them for next season.
