Six-year-old boy hurt in hit and run on Dumbreck Road in Glasgow
The boy was treated for minor injuries after he was knocked down while crossing the road at around 10pm on Wednesday, the driver didn't stop
A six-year-old boy has been treated in hospital for minor injuries, after being knocked down in a hit-and-run incident in Glasgow.
The child was crossing Dumbreck Road when he was hit by a car, which had turned from Paisley Road West, at around 10.05pm on Wednesday.
The young boy was assessed by the Scottish Ambulance Service and taken to hospital.
His injuries were minor.
The car involved is described as a mid-sized dark coloured hatchback.
The area was busy at the time with people on foot and vehicles following the Rangers v Ross County match at nearby Ibrox, and anyone who saw what happened, or has information about the car involved, is asked to report this to police as soon as possible.
