Police recover body from the River Clyde
Emergency were called to the south bank of the river this morning
A body has been recovered from the River Clyde.
Police were called to the Mavisbank Quay area around 10:10am this morning, 11th January.
The body hasn't yet been formally identified but the family of the man has been informed.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.10am on Thursday, 11 January, 2024, we received a report of a body in the River Clyde in Glasgow near Mavisbank Quay.
“Officers attended and the body of a man was recovered.
“Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of the man has been informed.”
