Body found in search for missing Clydebank dad

A body has been found in the search for a missing man from Clydebank.

44-year-old Andy McNee was last seen on Friday, November 8, when his van was picked up by a camera in both Glasgow city centre and Govan in the city's Southside.

His family alerted police due to his out of character disappearance and officers had been conducting a search.

The police confirmed the discovery of the body of a 44-year-old was discovered near Duke's Path in the Aberfoyle area on Wednesday morning.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10:50am on Wednesday, 13 November, the body of a 44-year-old man was found in the Aberfoyle area near Duke’s Path.

“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and his family are aware.

“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”

The police have now confirmed that the body of a 44-year-old man was discovered in the Aberfoyle area near Duke’s Path on Wednesday morning.
