Road open again after A82 crash in Dumbarton

Drivers are still being told to expect delays.

Traffic Scotland has confirmed that part of the A82 in Dumbarton is open again after a crash earlier.

The northbound carriageway at Abbotsford Hotel was shut for several hours but drivers are being warned they could still face delays of up to 20 minutes.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Stirling Road in Dumbarton is closed between Strowan's Road and Dunbritton Road following a two vehicle crash which was reported around 2.25pm.

"Officers are at the scene and drivers are urged to use an alternative route."
