Major Renfrewshire commuter route shut due to ongoing police incident
The A737 has been shut since the early hours of this morning and we are being told to avoid the area

A crash has closed a major commuter route in Renfrewshire.
The A737 is shut in both directions between Howwood and Kilbarchan, and has been since 03:42 this morning.
Traffic Scotland is advising a diversion is now in place and that motorists should do all they can to avoid the area.
Taking to X, they have said: "Delays of approx. 13 min on the Northbound diversion via B787."
