A woman who died after a fatal collision in Great Oakley has been named

She died following the incident last weekend.

Police have now identified the woman who died following the crash last Saturday the 24th April.

Local woman, Penelope Coggan, 73, died following the collision in Harwich Road.

Hivda Altuntop, of High Street in Harwich, was charged in connection with her death.

The 20-year-old was charged with the following offences:

Causing death by dangerous driving

Aggravated vehicle taking

Failing to stop following a collision

Failing to report a collision

Driving with eyesight which did not comply with requirements

Driving while uninsured

Possession of a knife

Possession of a controlled Class B drug.

She appeared in court last Monday and was remanded in custody to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on the 24 May.
