Woman dies in crash near Stansted Airport
Police were called to Takeley yesterday afternoon
A woman has died after a crash involving two vehicles in a village near Stansted Airport.
Police were called to Parsonage Road in Takeley at around 3:20pm yesterday, after reports of a collision near the High House Nursery.
The passenger in one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone who captured dashcam footage to get in touch.
