Witness appeal after assault in Clacton

Police are appealing for information after an assault in Clacton yesterday (August 25).

The victim, in his 50s, was found injured in Bluehouse Avenue shortly after 3:50pm.

It's believed he was hit from behind in the Bluehouse Avenue, Lavenham Close or Nayland Drive area.

Officers are trying to track down any potential witnesses, or anyone who captured CCTV or dashcam footage in the area at the time.
